Well, since i dont wanna make a subprofile, or kno anything about html, i thought this would be a good way to jus post about whatever came up during the day or what im thinking about. So, to kick off my little blog here, here was my experience moving into my new apt in Berk:

June 4th:
I never knew gettin the right set of keys was this tough, and working them was even more arduous. For our set of keys, u need a certain touch to open the doors. U need to jiggle them at the right distance from the lock, and in a certain way to get the doors open. Damn.. that took awhile. After gettin the keys from our new landlady, my new roomie (mark) and i started to move into the new place. In his appropriately uberifying (not ghetto, it takes some skills to drive this thing) mazda truck, we started to move everything over. We might have taken maybe 3 or 4 trips that day... and we we're far from finished... Around midnite, we jus turned in for the nite.

June 5th:
Phase 2 of moving all the ish in. By this time we've dismantled mark's desk and bed and carried it over to the new place. Clearing aside some random junk that we brought over b4, we re-mantled the bad boys in the new pad. Man can't live on bread alone, right? So, we take a trip to best buy, to get the essentials... hahah. Mark got a modem so he can overcome internet withdraw, and we both deliberated over a new TV to buy. Budget is a little tight this time around, so we decided against the big plasma screens... but hey, u cant pass up a flat-screen, right? So, after comparing a whole buncha tvs, from 13 to 27" and from regular to flat screen, the 20" flat screen sounded like a sweet deal. So, there u have it, a pretty snazy 20" flat screen tv, oh yea baby. Dinner was pretty good that night, and watchin run lola run over grilled chicken was even sweeter.

June 6th:
Now, to get some other goodies. Whats a good tv w/o a good entertainment deck? Browsing through ikea, we finally decided on one piece... which was in best buy, of all places. Again, we make a best buy run, buying a pretty nice entertainment deck w/ a sleek "low-profile" antenna to go w/ the tv. Good stuff baby. Along the way, we get some kitchen stuff: dish rack, a turner, and so on. Bed bath and beyond has a good selection of... uhh, bed, bath, and BEYOND accessories. How else can i describe it? But, man, can those little kitchen dealies add up... im feelin the pinch. Anyway, what we thought was an entertainment deck was a whole buncha boards and bolts. No prob, this stuff is cake... 2-3 hrs of baking required. Banging boards together called for a little get-together w/ our neighbor downstairs. (landlady: "a 90 lbs girl in platforms can sound like an elephant to the guys downstairs" ) We get it together eventually tho, and arranging it together... we jus stood in awe for awhile. It was good stuff, real good stuff. Now, the place was beginnin to look like an apt. Thats the end of that chapter....

June 7th:
Well, apt stuff is finishing up... so how bout a trip to Walnut Creek?? YAY. Meeting up w/ my good friend Jon from Alamo (town close to Walnut Creek), we eat lunch at Fuddruckers(again, its good stuff, good, heart-clogging, artery-deteriorating stuff). I couldnt resist, so i go for the 1/2 lb burger... "meat, filling up sinuses". After all that, Jon takes me around the Walnut Creek shopping district. Impressive, i can give ya that. That Bose store was awesome..... all that power and sound in something the size of my fist.... and whoa... $3500??? Damn.... not yet... soon tho... i hope, heh. But yea... Bose rocks. After a few stops along the way, we meet up w/ Jon's friend Alex in Danville (pretty close to Walnut Creek again). Now, its all business(but its fun, hehe). Watching a movie that Alex and Jon made during the fall semester, i decided that i wanted a hand in the sequel. Stakeout 2 baby, its goin to be good stuff. I'm not goin to say much about it, but lets jus say i had some fight coordinating priviledges, especially in my scene. Hey, its in my blood now, hehe. Well, filming that was fun, i have to give props to Jon (for puttin up w/ all that sand, hehe) and Jason (Jon's former roommate and who i fought in the later part of my scene). In the end, it'll be worth the little bruises, right?? hehe. After talkin w/ Alex, Jon, Jason , and Christine (Jon's hs friend), Jason graciously gave me a ride home, yay. A long, but pretty fun day. Its all good, wouldnt have it any other way.

June 8th:
Yea, we got packed and arrived in Ontario, mark and i... about 5 hrs ago.

Ahh... now to play some Grandia 2... yay. More to come later. It'll be good, hehe.
